About the studio

We make tangled care journeys easier to understand.

Mosaic Pulse Systems began with a simple observation: when a health service feels hard to navigate, the burden often lands on the person who has the least spare time and energy. We bring product strategy, accessible design, and reliable engineering together to make the next step clearer.

The studio wall

Small, focused, and comfortable with the messy middle.

We are an independent product studio for organizations working on meaningful health services. We like the working session where a process finally makes sense, the prototype that makes a hidden assumption visible, and the quiet discipline of a well-tested component.

Our work starts by listening across roles—service teams, product owners, engineers, and people using the service. The best solution usually comes from joining those perspectives, not choosing one voice over another.

Working note: If the next step is unclear to us, it is probably unclear to the person trying to get care.

Make the next step obvious

Use structure, language, and feedback that explain what happens now—and what follows.

Respect cognitive load

Reduce needless decisions, repeated questions, and avoidable memory work.

Test with real variation

Consider assistive technology, different literacy levels, language needs, devices, and stressful contexts.

Build systems people can maintain

Document decisions and make patterns understandable to the team inheriting them.

Accessibility is the method

Not a final polish pass.

Accessibility changes the questions we ask in discovery, the language we choose in a prototype, the semantics we implement, and the quality checks we run before release. Treating it as a finish-line audit can reveal issues too late, when fixes cost more and disrupt delivery.

Instead, we define inclusive requirements early, review content and interaction patterns together, and test across relevant needs and devices throughout the work. We make trade-offs explicit and keep improvement visible in the product backlog.

The people doing the work

Three perspectives, one thoughtful practice.
